Marty turned his love for dachshunds into a full-time mission after adopting his first “low-rider” years ago. As President, he leads the rescue’s vision, partnerships, and big-picture plans to make sure every doxie finds their forever couch. He’s the one who got Chyna hooked on the breed, and together they’ve built a whole community of wiener dog fanatics in Florida.
When he’s not running board meetings or charming donors, he’s dreaming up the next big dachshund event with Chyna — because one “weenie race” a year just isn’t enough. At home, he answers to his pack: who keep his lap warm and his snack supply in check.

Chyna didn’t grow up a “wiener dog” person — she married into it. Thanks to her husband, the rescue’s President and resident dachshund hype-man, she fell head over paws for the breed. Now she’s mom to a very spoiled pack and VP of the rescue, where she wrangles foster homes, plans weiner dog events, and makes sure no low-rider gets left behind.
Chyna and her husband love dachshund events so much they’re now planning their own, with help from the awesome community of doxie lovers they’ve built here in Florida. When she’s not organizing the next “weenie rodeo,” you’ll find her taste-testing homemade dog treats with her own pack — her toughest critics.

Corey joined the rescue after one foster doxie turned into a “foster fail” — and then another, and another. As Director, he’s the go-to guy for making sure every dachshund event has enough coffee and belly rubs. He’s been in the trenches with the President since day one and now helps plan those big dachshund events the Florida crew loves so much.
Corey swears he’s “not adding any more dogs,” but his current pack of wiener dogs would like a word. When he’s not hauling crates or matching pups with families, you’ll find him at the dog park, grill in tow, making sure no doxie parent goes hungry.
