Every dog needs a loving home. We thank you for wanting to be a part of the impact we are making in the dachshund community.

Is a Dachshund right for you? Visit our FAQ page, BEFORE APPLYING, for common questions about the breed. We are always updating to provide a better understanding for these dogs!

Please be advised you will be asked to provide 2 pet references towards the end of the application.

If you miss required questions, it will not go through.

When completed correctly, you will get a “Form Submitted” messageto confirm.

After receipt of your application, your information will be added to our contact lists, including email distributions Unless chosen otherwise.

Please submit ONLY ONE application. A separate application is not required for every dog you're interested in. If you have applied before, please email us at WeinerWunderlandFoundation@Gmail.com before submitting a new application.

We are committed to our dogs and require that you notify us if they cannot remain in your home.

Adoptive families must agree to periodic follow-up phone calls following the adoption.

An approved application does NOT guarantee you will be able to adopt a particular dog from WWF. For example, the dog you're interested in might not be a good match for you, or he/she may no longer be available by the time your application is approved.

We know the application is extensive however this allows us to ensure you are serious about this decision. The dogs come first! We are committed to making sure we match the right family with the right dog and we appreciate your patience and you doing your part to support our mission.
